prophetic bird Gamaun, the messenger of Gods, their herald, arrives
to the people at dawn from the East along with stormy winds and
furious hurricane. When Gamaun flies, from the sunrise the killing
storm comes. She comes flying and tells about coming days, but it
is hard to hear distinctly her voice, to recognize it among the
noise of the wind, rustle of leaves, scratch and groan of the wood
trees at the hour of the approaching storm. She sings the sacred
hymns and forebodes the future for those who can hear the secrets.
